Great jackets at a fabulous price! Jan 03, 2010
I was a bit hesitant to purchase these as there wasn't much info here. I contact Katarina Jewelers and they told me that these were GH diamonds and I1-2 clarity. That pretty much made me stop in my tracks. I was afraid that the "I" clarity would end up having these look like frozen spit. But I kept browsing around and then when they had the sale, I decided that worse came to worst, I'd just have to return them. When they arrived though I was very pleasantly surprised. Though these aren't icy white diamonds, they still look great against most white diamonds and especially against colored stone studs. And the diamonds are eye clean and give off some nice sparkle and fire. When I e-mailed Katarina they said that they they would fit 1.5 carat total weight diamond studs (3/4 ct each side), so approximately a 6mm stud. But when I put my 6mm studs in there's a little bit of extra wiggle room. These would probably fit at least a 6.5mm stud (1ct each side), and possibly a 7mm stud, but haven't tried one yet.
Overall though I was really pleased with this purchase at this price and would recommend these to someone else.
